A finely carved Louis XVI style mantel in Piastraccia marble panelled frieze elaborately carved with ribbon-tied laurel branches, beneath a bow-fronted shelf, the end blocks each carved with a square rosette the canted jambs each in the form of a scroll carved with acanthus leaves above beading.
