An exceptionally fine antique white Marble Fireplace chimneypiece in the Louis XV style The serpentine shelf above a frieze carved in deep relief with a shell and foliate trails and rosettes, the jambs modelled as foliate scrolled corbel pilasters surmounted by shells with acanthus scrolls rising from the base blocks.
